Exceptional Sapphire Designation

Imperial is not a metal class. It is the highest sapphire designation within Candied Carats, reserved for exceptional stones based on quality, rarity, color, clarity, size, phenomenon, provenance, or other extraordinary characteristics.

Most Imperial sapphires will appear in Crown pieces. A very small number may appear in Royal pieces as Royal Wildcards.

Genesis Batch

The First Batch

Before there were collectors, there were believers.

The inaugural Candied Carats production will be permanently recorded as the Genesis Batch — the first confections ever made, and the collectors who believed first.

Serial numbers and Founder designations remain a permanent part of each piece's history. They travel with the confection for as long as it exists.

Natural Sapphire

No Two Pieces of Candy Are Exactly Alike.

Candied Carats uses natural sapphire. Natural sapphires may vary in color, inclusions, transparency, pattern, origin and character. These natural differences are part of the individuality of each confection — no two are ever quite the same.

Disclosure

Many sapphires in the market are treated to improve appearance, most commonly by heat. Any treatment known to us will be disclosed for each piece. Candied Carats does not state a geographic origin for a gemstone unless that origin has been confirmed or is independently supported by laboratory documentation.

The Sweet Story

Our Story

“What if buying fine gemstones could create the same wonder people remember from walking into a candy store?”

Candied Carats began from a love of sapphire and that single question. Fine jewelry had become quiet, serious, and a little cold — while the joy of choosing something sweet had never lost its magic.

That question grew into collectible sapphire confections: flavors, batches, rarity classes, passports, Founder pieces, and a jewelry collection designed to expand with the collector over time.

Product Philosophy

If it doesn't excite your sweet tooth, it doesn't become a Candied Carat.
